3D Running Gait Analysis Singapore

Runeasi 3D Running Gait Analysis: Fix Running Form & Prevent Injuries in Singapore

Unlock your true running potential with precision technology.

At Podiatry Quest, we utilize the revolutionary Runeasi 3D Gait Analysis – the first and only Podiatry practice in Singapore and the region to offer it. This powerful system combines slow-motion video analysis with a scientifically-validated 3D sensor and AI technology to deliver the most accurate biomechanical data available.

We analyze your unique running gait pattern to diagnose the root cause of recurring running injuries (like Plantar Fasciitis or Runner’s Knee), allowing our expert Podiatrists to create a precise, evidence-based plan to fix your form, improve your efficiency, and eliminate pain. Often, the results of this analysis directly inform the prescription of the right running footwear, personalised rehab exercises and programme, and customised foot orthotics for ultimate support.

Why Trust Our Data? Clinical Expertise Meets 3D Technology

Runeasi is a revolutionary 3D gait analysis instrument that uses a scientifically validated, state-of-the-art biomechanics sensor to track the acceleration of your body’s centre of mass during running or walking. By doing so, Runeasi captures the impact that your body is subjected to during running. It then uses AI technology to assess how your body responds to this impact. Crucially, it detects issues such as poor movement control, instability, overload, and asymmetry.

The AI technology provides a quantitative score for your running efficiency and flags areas of instability or asymmetry. However, the true value lies in the clinical interpretation by our Podiatrist, who translates this complex data into a clear, actionable, and personalised training or treatment plan for you.

Podiatry Quest is proud to be the first and only Podiatry practice in Singapore and the region to be using Runeasi. This commitment ensures you receive the most accurate, scientifically validated data available, interpreted by our experienced Podiatrists.

What You Take Away: Your Personalised Runner’s Blueprint

You will conclude your session with a full, comprehensive clinical report and a personalised performance roadmap. This details your objective biomechanical data measurements and Runeasi running score, followed by the expert analysis and diagnosis from your Podiatrist. The report translates this technical data into specific, evidence-based interventions, including personalised rehabilitation exercises, targeted running technique advice, and clinical running footwear prescription, ensuring a clear and confident path toward injury resolution and performance goals.

“Boon Kiak is an excellent podiatrist who is extremely thorough. He focuses on the root cause of running injuries rather than just treating symptoms. For anyone looking for a professional 3D running gait analysis and expert care, I highly recommend him and his team!” – Leroy Lim, runner and marathoner

Identify the Root Cause of Your Running Pain:

  • Knee Pain / Runner’s Knee: Analysis identifies poor shock absorption, hip drop, or excessive knee rotation contributing to pain.
  • Heel Pain / Plantar Fasciitis: Measurement of impact forces and loading rate pinpoint the source of fascial strain.
  • Shin Splints (MTSS): Detecting harmful asymmetry or overload patterns that lead to repetitive stress injuries.
  • Forefoot Pain / Morton’s Neuroma: Analysing propulsion mechanics and lower limb control that irritate forefoot structures.

Frequently Asked Questions: 3D Running Gait Analysis

What is the difference between your 3D Gait Analysis and a basic treadmill run in a shoe store?

Our Runeasi 3D Gait Analysis provides objective, precise data using scientifically validated sensors and AI technology, capturing sub-millimeter movement and impact measurements. Unlike basic video reviews, our assessment is interpreted by a Registered Podiatrist who focuses on diagnosing the root cause of pain, not just recommending footwear.

Is the Runeasi 3D Gait Analysis only for injured runners?

Absolutely not. The analysis is equally valuable for injury prevention, performance enhancement, and improving running efficiency. The objective data helps both competitive athletes aiming for faster times and casual runners looking for sustainable, pain-free running technique.

How long does the 3D Gait Analysis session take, and what should I bring?

The full session typically lasts 45-60 minutes. Please bring at least one pair of your regular running shoes and be prepared to run or walk in shorts so our Podiatrist can clearly visualise your lower limb alignment during the assessment.

Will the analysis results dictate that I need custom orthotics?

Not necessarily. The analysis provides comprehensive data on your biomechanics. The Podiatrist will discuss all treatment options, which may include custom orthotics, specific strengthening exercises, running form drills, or footwear changes, always ensuring a personalised treatment plan based on your goals.

What specific pain points can this analysis help diagnose?

The data is highly effective in diagnosing the biomechanical drivers behind common pain points such as persistent Runner’s Knee, chronic Plantar Fasciitis, recurrent Shin Splints, and unresolving Achilles Tendinopathy.
