Customised Foot Orthotics

Precision devices used to treat injuries and improve foot function

Customised foot orthotics (custom insoles/ orthotics/ shoe-inserts) are precision-made devices used to treat injuries and improve foot function. They are bespoke and custom-fit to your foot shape and prescribed to your individual needs and biomechanics.

A well-prescribed customised orthotic would treat your pain, improve your function, feel comfortable, and fit well into your shoes.

Orthotics For You

Customised foot orthotics are beneficial in the overall management of many foot, ankle and lower limb conditions. The aim of these precision devices is to reduce excess load and stress on the affected part of your body, and improve foot and lower limb function when you walk and run.

A detailed history taking and musculoskeletal assessment are essential parts of the prescription process to take into account your injury status and the causative factors. This may also include a video gait assessment. A 3D scan of your feet is then taken. Based on the clinical findings and assessments, your Podiatrist fills in a prescription form for the foot orthotics to address your injury, individual needs and biomechanics.

Together with the 3D scan, this prescription form is then sent for processing at our orthotic lab. Our orthotics are 3D printed and precision-made to be comfortable and functional. It will take 2-3 weeks for them to be ready. Your orthotics are fully bespoke and custom-fit to you and your foot shape.

We will ensure that your orthotics are comfortable and well-fitted. There will be no additional charges for any adjustments (if required) on the orthotics. 99% of our patients are comfortable with the customised foot orthotics prescribed and do not require adjustments. Each customised foot orthotic is covered under a limited warranty period. It is our promise and commitment to you that you’re comfortable and happy with the device.
