Alexandra Foo is a dedicated podiatrist in Singapore with strong clinical expertise in sports podiatry, musculoskeletal injuries, lower-limb biomechanics, and diabetic foot management. She holds a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the University of Western Australia, following her Bachelor of Science in Human Anatomy and Pathology.
Alex began her career at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, where she managed complex diabetic foot conditions as part of the multidisciplinary Diabetic Foot Unit. She later led the hospital’s Sports Podiatry Service under the Sports Medicine Department, treating a wide range of biomechanical, overuse, and activity-related injuries.
In private practice, Alex continues her passion for musculoskeletal and sports injury management, helping active individuals and athletes recover, stay mobile, and confidently return to the activities they love.
Her interest in sports medicine is shaped by years of personal involvement in high-impact and agility-based sports including field hockey, ultimate frisbee, and calisthenics. This firsthand experience gives her a practical understanding of the physical demands placed on active bodies, enriching her approach to injury prevention, rehabilitation, and movement optimisation.
Outside the clinic, you’ll often find Alex at the gym or working on calisthenics skills. Her curiosity, discipline, and active lifestyle keep her grounded in the same challenges her patients face every day.
Alex currently consults at our Novena, Tampines, and Holland Grove clinics.
