Boon Kiak is an experienced podiatrist in Singapore with a strong clinical background in sports podiatry, musculoskeletal conditions, and foot & ankle biomechanics. He graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master of Podiatric Practice (First-Class Honours) from La Trobe University, Australia in 2014.
He began his career at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, where he established and led the Sports Podiatry service, managing a wide spectrum of complex foot and lower-limb injuries. In 2021, he moved to the Woodlands Health Campus, taking on leadership and managerial roles as the lead podiatrist.
Beyond the clinic, Boon Kiak brings a rare blend of elite athletic experience and clinical expertise. As a former elite cyclist and multi-time Singapore National Champion (Road Race & ITT), Boon Kiak brings athlete-level insight to treating heel pain, plantar fasciitis, flat feet, tendon injuries, stress injuries, and sports-related conditions. His key achievements include a SEA Games bronze medal (2022) and representing Singapore in three SEA Games.
Boon Kiak is also active in academia and research. He is a published author in multiple scientific journals and serves as a Clinical Educator with the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, where he lectures for the Graduate Diploma in Sports Medicine programme.
